SHANTEL LEISHMAN

Life Insurance/Investment Administrative Assistant

Shantel joined Winward Financial over a decade ago and is a licensed service assistant. Sam defers most of the important tasks to Shantel when they require getting paperwork done exactly right, so there is a good chance you’ll interact with Shantel often in the office.

Shantel is married to Paul, and together they have raised 6 children and are now enjoying the fruits of those efforts as they have 9 grandchildren and they keep coming. A resident of Wellsville, Shantel enjoys her family, friends, and being part of a great community.

JENNA HARRIS

Medical Insurance Professional

Jenna was hired in the fall of 2022 and is a valued employee of Winward Financial. She specializes in providing solutions and service for those in need of health insurance or Medicare guidance. With over a decade of experience in both elementary and higher education, she brings a strong foundation in client education and communication. Jenna is passionate about helping individuals understand their insurance options and confidently navigate their healthcare benefits.

Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Jenna has also lived in Colombia; Hawaii; and Fiji—experiences that have shaped her global perspective and appreciation for diverse communities. She and her husband, David, are grateful to be raising their three children in the supportive community of Wellsville. Outside the office, Jenna enjoys hiking, painting, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.

CHRIS HARPER

Associate Financial Advisor

Chris joined Winward Financial in the fall of 2023 and is an associate financial advisor. He primary helps with retirement and investment planning. He is passionate about helping people optimize their investments and find clarity in their finances.

Chris and his wife Carley live in Hyrum with their two fluffy cats. When he is not in the office, you might see him fly fishing in Blacksmith Fork Canyon. Chris enjoys basketball, movie nights, and visiting with family and friends.

ALEENA WINWARD

Building Manager

Aleena has been involved with Winward Financial since its founding in some capacity or another. Presently, Aleena works as the Building Manager for the Winward Building in Wellsville as well as a wide variety of miscellaneous tasks to help keep things going. If you come by the office, there is a chance you may bump into her.

Aleena is married to Sam, and together they are raising three very busy children. Aleena is an amazing long-arm quilter and operates a quilt shop in the Winward Building also. She enjoys hiking, singing, Cache Valley, southern Utah camping, and spending time with family and friends. She is her family’s #1 cheerleader and helps the kids in their ballroom dance, violin, piano, studies, and growing up to be productive members of society.
